Private Residence - New Construction

This sprawling traditional home is a gallery of detail, classic woodwork and molding, including box beam ceilings, a Rumford fireplace, hardwood floors and extensive tile and masonry detail throughout.

This home set on a wooded hillside embracing a 180 degree westerly view of Lake Washington, has the qualities, terrain and grounds of what feels like a long established stately family home. Hand dipped cedar shingles on the exterior, custom cherry cabinetry and wooded detail create a style and class of its own.

This home wraps the hillside and captures views from nearly every living space in the home. Large picture windows strategically placed bring the evergreens and the trees from the outside, in.

Construction challenges included a steep hill side, a fairly busy street, as well as a large yet challenging shaped lot. The goal, while building this premium quality home was to create privacy, maximize the views and build a home that was spacious, yet not overwhelming with purposeless square footage. MatchPoint accomplished this quite successfully. Upon entering this home, the street goes away and the lake and the woods come in.
