The MatchPoint team is of the same philosophy and work ethic as their leader, Steve. Attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy are mandatory characteristics of all team members. Each and every one, whether a subcontractor, vendor or staff member, must meet the high level of integrity, quality, commitment and ethical standards demanded by MatchPoint. All subcontractors are licensed, bonded and insured.

J. Steven Gwinn Principal

Steve Gwinn has been building primarily in the Puget Sound Region for over 15 years. Prior to Seattle, Steve resided in Southern California, where he completed his education at the University of Southern California with a Bachelors Degree in Architecture.

Before moving his family to Puget Sound in 1992, Steve worked at architecture firms, in construction management, in Southern California. Since residing in the Seattle area, Steve has continued to pursue design and construction of residential properties.

Steve has completed numerous projects including land development-speculation, custom homes and major remodels. His expertise lies in a clear and comprehensive understanding of the site and project, including site analysis, uncanny vision and the focus on the quality, detail and timely completion throughout each and every step of a project. Attention to detail and the focus on project completion have resulted in a stellar reputation for quality and integrity. This reputation has led to numerous repeat clients and constant referrals.

Steve lives on Mercer Island with his wife of 27 years and three daughters. He enjoys all sports, is an avid reader, enjoys an active social life and is dedicated to the local community
